Hello there! This week at Let's Scrap is a card sketch. I had done this background a couple of months back when I did the mass misting. So now it's handy for me to just add a few stickers to make it into a Christmas card! Do check out the rest of the lovely DT members' creations on site! There are lots of stuff going on right now at the blog so drop by at Let's Scrap every other week to play along and remember to link up!

Use Your Stuff Mondays - Challange #153 Back To School

Hello Monday. Today I'm playing at Use Your Stuff. This site is challenging you to Use Your Stuff (as it says). Every Monday someone from the creative team would post a challenge that we hope will inspire you to use your stash to create. Your creation could be anything, layout, card, tag, decor item etc. Just link up!

Today's challenge is hosted by Renee and the theme is Back To School (school inspired project) . You can make a layout with your back to school pictures, or make a card or other project that puts you in the mind of reading, writing and arithmetic. I did the latter, created a busy card with pencils, some doodles and arithmetic. I had created this for a little chap who's graduating kindy this year and would head on to primary school next year. Hope he'll like this card!

Come show us how you'd use up your stash on your craft and link up the challenge at Use Your Stuff!

Let's Scrap 9-10-14

This would be the 1st take for this term at Let's Scrap. I'm playing along sketch 9-10-14. When I was preparing for this sketch, I wanted to challenge myself. To use something out of the norm. Sweet baby papers -  Not easy to find in my stash, but I did find these Simple Stories papers. Kid #2 is fun, sweet and a very busy chap. So, I added some fun fair fussy cut items. Busy layout eh? :D

This is my take for Let's Scrap DT call. This is a very old photo of #1, when he's just between 1-2 years old. Oh.. how I miss that cute round face! Now he's all grown up! For this layout, I did some misting with some Glimmer mists and topped the layers with OA papers and washi tapes. Woohoo.. yes, happy dance, another term! Check out the rest of the lovely DT members' creations on site!

Stick It Down - September 2014

Here's my Sept layout with Stick It Down, and guess what? This is a photo of snowskin mooncake filled with mango and pomelo. Yummy! Again, this background is one of the mass misting done in a night. I did alternate misting with Dylusions to create for alternate colors but not quite getting the sunburst outcome, and added a mask somewhere on the page. The page came out pretty monochromatic - in the ORANGY manner! Do check out the site for other inspirations by the talented bunch at Stick It Down! Have fun!

Noteables : October Afternoon papers, Dylusions Squeezed Orange/Pure Sunshine, Distress Ink Wild Honey, Christy Tomlinson Doily mask Bo Bunny Ad Lib sticker
