My 1st altered project - Owl board

I did this in about 2hours, contemplating what to use and how much washi tape I was willing to part with. My mum saved some cardboard from the recent purchase of bedsheets. Shawn has been asking me to help to collect stars stickers (reward system). And so I chanced upon Lesslogy Challenge 9 on Inspiration Board and Joey's Owl related challenge on Facebook. So why not do something and try upcycling about it for fun! :) I would probably stick to Shawn's wardrobe using 3M stickies

Linking up these parties :
*Lesslogy Challenge9 - Inspiration Board
*Joey's Giveaway Challenge on Facebook

Supplies:
1. Daiso supply : self adhesive red felt, Heart shaped pegs Monday-Sunday (which had been in my storeroom for almost 6months)
2. Local bookshop : Blue foam and transparency (Why I put the transparency is because when we run out of space on the blue foam, my intention is just to replace and restick new double sided tape with a new top in replacement of the blue foam)
3. Some scrapbook patterened paper to make an owl *for Joey's challenge, scallop punch
4. Unused apparel buttons
5. Washi tape
6. Glue/modpodge, double sided tape, UHU, 3d dots, scissors

Washi Madness

There is a local interest group on FB. Apparently yes, it's supposed to be (I quote) : "A place meant for scrappers to meet scrappers, exchange ideas, swap, sell their extra stash or share a good deal!!!"

Things are getting a littttllleee out of hand at the site tonight over Washi tapes. So I thought I'll just do a washi tape stash organizing cum stock check to ensure I'm not buying something that I already have and of course needed to pull my brakes from further purchasing and start using what I have now. Sigh... they are way too pretty to be touched!
So there you go, I did my maths, I owned 59 rolls including 3 Amy T Mix Tapes and another 3 which I am getting from another scrapbooker from the group. Gosh... speaking as a hoarder going through inventory check!

3rd LOAD - oops!

Simply love this photo! I swear the photo was taken naturally, no poses
This is my 1st attempt using LBD. I have the habit of trying to use up the scrap papers before I move on to use new papers. TO think about tearing up 7 sheets of papers kind of bring would mean mix of lots of pattern and colors, pretty overwhelming to me! So it's time to move on and get out of the comfy zone. Since the photo is already very colorful and pops, I reckon distressed look papers from LBD would compliment it with a tiny title to focus more on the photo.

Supplies :
Cardstock Kraft from Bazzill
7 papers from LilyBeeDesign Harvest Market (including the light yellow and blue distress papers)
3 starburst punched flowers
oops! is from LilyBeeDesign ABC Stickers
One manila tag with ticket stub (can't remember the co. name) with Kraft reinforcement ring
October Afternoon buttons
Bakers' Twine
Metal emblish = clip
