Below is a card that I made for my niece who turns 3 in July. I'm not into pink very much, but she's all pink little lady so, I decided to give her 'some' pink on her birthday card. This is my 1st handmade birthday card to her, hope her parents would safe keep this for her until she grows up!

Thrusday's Up! - Mondrian

Mondrian

Here's something abstract this week on 365cards. How does the word "Mondrian" inspires you? Create a background with the Mondrian concept. Well, if you have not heard of this artist, check out the wikipedia Piet Mondrian. When I went on wiki, what strike me was an early piece of his work, thin rectangular lines with blocks of red, yellow and blue. So I hope I had kept things in simple and clean lines.

I can't bake, and no, I don't quite fancy cupcakes stamps. So brain cramp because it is July SBM ATC theme is CUPCAKE. So I thought of blocking the stamp image to make something out of it. Watch out for the real thing in a few weeks time!

Card#1 - Say hello to a new neighbour

Hello folks! Ready for some "FOOD" challenge at 365 cards? Can your food talk? Does it have a great big smile? There are so many yummy FOOD images, stamps, and patterned paper depicting food that appears alive, animated, or just too cute for words. Find an image of food that fits this idea and share it on your card. And I happen to have none at the point of creation (last night!) except that mason jar stamp. I wasn't quite inspired for lemonade on my card.. so I did these with the same jar stamps. They do look the similar as I used the same jar (except one I didn't ink the words in the jar and I added burlap string to the cover)

365cards theme this week is MONEY. What would you do with this word on your card? I thought of reverse, something MONEY can't buy/provide that is faith in yourself. As long as you believe in something, you would make it possible. Here's a congratulatory card for someone who had believed in herself and achieved what she had aimed for.  I used 7 washi tapes from my collection. Love the colors! Anyway, the happy, bright and summery washi tapes are supposed to depict rainbow colors.

Sneak peek - SBM ATC June2012

It's my turn to host June2012. The theme is DOODLE! Yup, I have never doodle anything as big as 3.5x 2.5 size paper. It's a challenge to me and well, I've never been fond of sketching either  :) So all I used were pens and pens. All of the cards similar, on 2nd look they  were different (actually I did try to keep the element as similar as possible) So say hellow to SHARPIES and sneaks to group A yummy doodle goodness!
