Weekend crafts

With the help of my kids over the weekend, we did use some of my washi tapes. I let them chose the designs that they wanted and of course they were very excited after seeing the MT Kids Limited Edition tapes. We created Teachers' Day postcard style Thank You cards. For each cards, #1 chose the tapes he wanted and I tore/cut for him. #2 wanted almost everything aligned, so I had to cut, aligned and pasted the tapes for him. The messages as seen below were writting by #1. Oh well, spelling mistakes here and there but it's ok. :)

Weekend crafts

I'm pretty happy with what was done over the weekend with these crafts. Here's to share :
Inspired by http://scrapbookandcardstodaymag.typepad.com/scrapbook_cards_today_blo/2012/11/look-what-vicki-createdfrom-her-scraps.html
1. I made some tags inspired by Vicki on Scrapbook and Cards Today. Just armed with a pair of scissors and glue stick I did this and cleared the mini pieces of my stash in 1.5hrs.

2. Labels for #1 birthday party and also made from scraps, punched 1.75" circles, stamped 3 stamps and kids helped to stick them with washi tapes onto the birthday goodie bags.

3. This is Muji kraft wrapping paper and some kiddy stamps which I got locally. Both the boys helped me out 90% of the drawing block size paper was covered and I filled in the blanks after they are done. And yup that's 20minutes of no-TV time and the boys had fun!

Here's a swatch of what I received in happy mail a couple of weeks ago. Hero Arts Shadow Ink Mid-Tone is so yummy!

Kinda sorted

We recently renovated the study room - from an Ikea furnished room to a new built-in cabinets. Prior to this, my stuff were mainly in the storeroom . So here are some when laid out on the floor while I was sorting out the things. All 3 boxes were punches, washi tapes and some knick knacks, still end up in the storeroom for the time being.

I took time to sort out my bags and boxes of things. One of the black file folders holds Unity stamps, while the other one is empty for the time being. Most acrylic stamps are housed in one of the rectangular boxes. While other bigger packet of stamps are lying some where in another shelf, unsorted. wooaaaa ... there ARE still lots to do to organise and further sort!
