Emblishing just 1/4 of the page...

I saw what was posted on Yourscrapbookstash on 2Sept, took out the 6x6 stack and cut out the flowers and leaves. Then added to one of the bare minimal pages. Well the 'thinking' process and cutting and sticking the cutouts took me one hour. It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Bare minimal as of 6Sept

This is part of the mini album that is in progress.. except I'm nowhere near what I want the outcome to be, and I miss my own deadline.

~ Use string or twine on your layout

Another bunch of cards

These are 9 Teachers' Day card made last 2 nights after the kids knock out. These are made of Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends, 7Gypsies Mykonos, Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper. The color swatch that I got just stayed in the bag and was not referred at all! Looks like I have very serious tendency of wanting to use all papers at one go... I need more refrain & practice!

Just a coincident...

Was gearing to make a card for a 4 yr old little lady by the name of Elaine Lai, thought it would be nice to personalise a card for this 4yr old. I did some pennants cut out of Bo Bunny papers and used marker to write the alphas. I had intended to use some alphas from Bo Bunny kit (HAPPY) and a Maya Rd chipboard cupcake to doodle on. It's so happen Let's Scrap did a post of a card sketch today. The outcome of the card is a little 'noisy' as there were lots of pattern, overload of colors and perhaps mismatch too. So I need to practise more to get my swatches right.
